Our Staff

Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.

Here are a few of Triad Martial Arts Family Training Center's instructors and other staff members, starting with E.H. Williford:

E.H. Williford

E.H. Williford  (6th Dan Taekwondo) 
Senior Master Williford has been training in the martial arts since 1972, and has attained Black Belts in Taekwondo and Hapkido, as well as certification as a CDT Tactical Master Instructor. Senior Master Williford is also a field agent for the National Security Alliance ( Kid Safe Network Division). Senior Master Williford was the 1976 Mid-Atlantic U.S. Masters Full Contact Fighting Champion and remained undefeated until retiring from competition in 1982. Senior Master Williford has coached many of his own students to State, Regional, and U.S. National Championships over the years. Senior Master Williford opened this school in 1985 and has continued to coach and teach as the senior master instructor to the present time. Senior Master Williford was formerly a member of the ITF Master's Council.Senior Master Williford celebrated 42 years of training in the martial arts during the year of 2014. Congratulations Sir!


Terry Giles

Terry Giles  (4th Dan Hapkido & Taekwondo) 
Mr. Giles started training in Taekwondo at the High Point YMCA with Master Williford in 1985. Mr. Giles has a 4th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo as well as 4th Dan in Hapkido. He has also trained in Vo Lam Kung Fu, Brazilian Juijitsu, Muay Thai and American Kickboxing. Currently Mr. Giles instructs in Taekwondo youth and adult classes, and our Hapkido classes as well as our Fitness Kickboxing Program. He holds certifications in CDT/PPT as well as instructor level certifications in the Phillipine Martial Arts Alliance (PMAA) and Hapkido Ground Survival.


Judy Needham

Judy Needham  (5th Dan Taekwondo) 
Mrs. Needham has been teaching at TMATC since 1995. She is the head instructor for our Kid Dragons program. She also assists in some of our adult classes as well as many of our youth classes. Mrs. Needham has achieved many honors throughout her martial arts career including several championship medals when she competed at the state level during the 1990s.
Master Needham is one of the student's favorite instructors because of her wonderful personality and vast knowledge of the martial arts.


Delaney Davis
Hannah Davis  (2nd Dan Black Belt)
Ms. Davis has been with us since she was 6 years old and has continued to train for her own improvement as well as be one of two main instructors for the Kid Tigers class. Ms. Davis is a very popular instructor with all of the kids in her class and continues to progress as an instructor and as a student. Ms. Davis also continues to show tremendous academic excellence in her school. We are very proud to have Ms. Davis on our instructor staff.


Summer Giles

Summer Giles  (2nd Dan TKD / 3rd Dan HKD)
Summer is a world class instructor. She is very versatile in her teaching abilities. Her main classes are the Youth TaeKwonDo classes, Kid Tiger classes, and Adult Hapkido, however she has also filled in with our Kid Dragon and Fitness Kickboxing classes. Students love her energy and enthusiasm. Summer's passion for growing in the Martial Arts is evident in how she trains and teaches!
